We are delighted to announce the splendid results achieved by our student Carson Ip from 6I in the GalaMusica—School Chamber Compositions 2019 held on February 1 at the Ngau Chi Wan Civic Centre.

The event was co-organized by the EDB and the Hong Kong Composers’ Guild, with selected works composed by students from different schools being performed by professional musicians. With his best endeavors, Carson’s work Appassionato was among the outstanding compositions being selected. His work also received very positive comments from the judges and he was awarded the Outstanding Composition Award, as well as the Performer’s Adjudication Award.
