On 6th May, our College held a Chinese Culture Booths Activity as part of National Education Week. A variety of interactive booths were set up to offer students hands-on experiences of traditional Chinese culture. Highlights included ancient archery, ironwork crafts, and an intangible cultural heritage activity – the making of Dragon's Beard candy (dragon beard's candy). Students eagerly participated in these cultural experiences, gaining a deeper appreciation of China's rich heritage.
To further enhance the festive atmosphere, both teachers and students dressed in traditional Chinese costumes (Hanfu) throughout the event. Their vibrant attire added colour and authenticity to the occasion, creating a truly immersive cultural environment.
The activity was warmly received and successfully promoted cultural awareness among students, while also fostering a strong sense of national identity and pride within our school community.
