2016-11-11   Mathematics Afternoon 2016

To let students explore and learn outside the classroom and to inspire their creativity, the Mathematics Department organize the Mathematics Afternoon every year, during which students participate in various stimulating activities. This year, the Mathematics Afternoon was held on November 11. Students were asked to build a Geodesic Dome and a pencil model with newspapers and pencils respectively. Though not all of them succeeded in completing the tasks, they learnt Math concepts and teamwork skills through these activities.
