The College has been organizing a series of activities this school year aiming to arouse students’ awareness of environmental protection and enrich their knowledge regarding sustainable development. On 27 and 28 March, the College participated in a territory-wide green event – “Earth Hour 2015” – organized by World Wildlife Fund HK (WWF). All non-essential campus lights were turned off that night. Teachers and students also took part in this meaningful activity at home. Besides, a charity sale was held to raise fund for WWF. Students and teachers made donation by purchasing different products such as notebooks made of sugar bagasse, pencils made of recycled newspaper and pen made of apple pomace, coffee ground, egg shell and tea ground.
