Three Form 3 students, 3T SARAN Sarneet Kaur, 3T MURILLO Michaela Bautista and 3T TARIQ Tasphiya Tabassum Preeti joined the SciChef Cooking Challenge 2015 organized by the Faculty of Science, HKU. The aims of this competition are to foster Food Science, Chemistry and nutrition knowledge in junior secondary school students, and arouse their interest in Science and healthy eating habits. Over 90 schools joined the competition and participants were required to submit a proposal of their investigation plan in December 2014. 15 schools were selected for the Semi-Final Round in January and they were required to present the experimental findings of their investigation. Only 12 schools were selected for the Final Round and they were required to make their dish based on their experimental findings. Our school successfully entered the Final Round and received the Outstanding Award. Click here for more photos / video.
