Our student, 4F04 Ocean Chan, was among 30 youths in Hong Kong who participated in a 6-month Aviation Training Programme organized by the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps this year. Through the training sessions, Ocean was enriched with basic aeronautical knowledge. After passing the written test, a flight simulator test and a stringent selection process, Ocean, together with 7 other young aviation enthusiasts, was chosen to go to New Zealand for 16 days in November 2014 to gain hands-on flying experience. Upon finishing the programme, Ocean was required to take the final challenge - fly a plane on his own.
