2015-11-10   Science Club – Field Trip to Mai Po Nature Reserve

Science Club organized a field trip to Mai Po Nature Reserve for their members on 30 November 2015. During the field trip, students learnt the characteristics and adaptation features of wildlife and they observed different migratory birds such as great cormorants and grey herons. They also learnt the impacts of climate change and human activities on the wetland ecosystem. Moreover, they understood the basic concepts and importance of conservation management and they helped to fix a small part of the pavement in the reserve. Click here for more photos / video.
