2016-03-09   Juvenile Horseshoe Crab Rearing Programme

Last year, our school joined the "Juvenile Horseshoe Crab Rearing Programme" (馬蹄蟹校園保姆計劃) organized and funded by City University of Hong Kong and Ocean Park Conservation Foundation Hong Kong. Our S4 students helped to take care those Horseshoe Crabs for 8 months and they were released to their natural habitat on 30 June, 2015 in the “Wild release activity” successfully. This year, the Green Team and Science Department prepared some exhibition boards at the covered playground and booklets to let students learn more about this endangered species. Students were given some colour papers to fold origami horseshoe crab. Click here for more photos / video.
