To encourage volunteerism amongst students and to enhance their understanding of life in China’s rural areas, the College arranged for 19 S3 and S4 students to take part in a 8-day voluntary service tour to Huining, Gansu, organized in conjunction with “Hope Worldwide”, from Monday, July 18 to Monday, July 25. Participants organized an English summer camp at a high school in Gansu and conducted English lessons for the local students. They also visited sponsored students in the mountain areas to experience their lives and tour some famous attractions in the area. Click here for more photos / video.
