The voting period of the Election of the 9th IMC Parent Managers ended on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 3 pm. The Election Committee conducted vote counting at Room 109 at 4:30 pm on the same day. The vote counting session was witnessed by Ms Tracy Cheung, the Principal, Ms Jenny Sit, the Deputy Principal, Mr Leon Lee, the Returning Officer of the Election Committee, Mr Lo Wai Ki, parent representative of the Election Committee and Mr Leslie Mak, the School Development Manager. It was completed at 4:55 pm.
Here are the ballot results:
Candidate No. 1 Pau Sau Kan, Eva: 143 votes
Candidate No. 2 Lam Mei Yuk, Rachel: 165 votes
As such, the Election Committee declared that Candidate No. 2 Lam Mei Yuk, Rachel was officially nominated as the 9th IMC Parent Manager as she received a greater number of votes, while Candidate No. 1 Pau Sau Kan, Eva was officially nominated as the 9th IMC Alternate Parent Manager.
