The College’s 16th Athletics Meet was successfully held on February 14 and 15 at the Sham Shui Po Sports Ground.
Hundreds of athletes strived for their best in different track and field events, while the spectators cheered with all their might to support their housemates. They displayed great athletic skills as well as teamwork and sportsmanship. It was exciting to see our students break a number of records this year. In particular, Sulaiman of 5M and Angel Lam of 5P broke the school record in Boys A Grade 110 m hurdles and Girls A Grade 800 m respectively. Congratulations! All S1 students took part in the Inter-class Synchronized Skipping Competition to add fun to the day, and the champion went to Class 1E.
On the second day, teachers, parents and students had fun together in the parent-teacher race. The highlight of the day was the Cheering Team Competition. Everyone was impressed by the brilliantly choreographed cheer dance performed by the cheering teams of the four houses.
The event drew to a close with the Yellow House and the Red House being awarded the Best Cheering Team and the Overall Champion respectively. Congratulations to all the participants for their outstanding achievements!
