2017-03-29   Staff Development Day

As part of our continuous efforts to upgrade teachers’ professional skills so as to enhance the effectiveness of teaching and learning, a Staff Development Day was held on March 29.

 

The whole-day event kicked off with a Crisis Management Workshop conducted by the Hong Kong Family Welfare Society, during which teachers gained hands-on experience in handling crises through taking part in a real-life scenario simulation. In the afternoon, a seminar by a Humane Education Specialist was held to offer teachers useful tips on incorporating compassion education into everyday teaching. The day concluded with a health talk by the Hong Kong Cancer Association. The active participation of all staff members made the day a fruitful one.
