On July 4, a group of P5 students from Yaumati Catholic Primary School (Hoi Wang Road) were invited to join an experiencing day at our College. The day kicked off with a science workshop. All the students were very excited as this was their first time to visit a school laboratory. Under the guidance of the Science teacher and laboratory technician, the students had a chance to learn how to use a microscope and conduct a few experiments. The students then joined an art workshop during which they learnt to draw on white sports shoes using marker paint. Students demonstrated great creativity and they all had a good time creating their own unique pair of sports shoes to bring home.
The experiencing day provided a good opportunity for fostering collaborations and friendships among participating schools, and for primary students to gain insights into school life at our College.
