Our school’s graduation ceremony for the academic year 2016/17 was successfully held on July 8 in the school hall. We were honored to have invited Mr Eric Ma Siu-cheung, JP, the Former Secretary for Development, to be our guest of honour.
The ceremony kicked off with a welcoming speech by the Hon. Mr Michael Tienn Puk-sun, BBS, JP, the Chairman of the College’s Incorporated Management, followed by an insightful keynote speech by our guest of honour. Our principal Ms Tracy Cheung then presented the annual school report, during which she highlighted the outstanding achievements of our students in both academic and non-academic pursuits over the past years. Following the presentation of certificates and awards to our graduates and prize-winners, John Paul, the student representative of our graduates, delivered a vote of thanks. Drawing the ceremony to a close, the drama team, school band and school choir gave a great drama performance entitled “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”. A tea reception was held after the ceremony, as graduates, parents and guests enjoyed the wonderful performances by the school orchestra and cheering team.
The graduation ceremony was a memorable occasion that brought together alumni, parents and friends. We look forward to seeing more alumni coming back for reunion and we wish the graduates all the best in the future.
