The School Closing Ceremony for the academic year 2016/17 was successfully held on July 14 in the school hall. It was a time for students to review their accomplishments over the past year and to show appreciation to teachers for their guidance and support. Following a closing speech by our Principal Ms Tracy Cheung, awards and prizes were presented to students with outstanding performance in academic and non-academic areas.
To celebrate this memorable occasion, S5 students put on an English drama which was based on a self-written script. Everyone enjoyed the drama tremendously and the script had such a sense of humor that the hall was filled with laughers. The band show performed by a group of S4 and S5 students was also well received by the teachers and students. The students demonstrated their talents in music by writing their own songs and lyrics. The highlight of the day was the Inter-house Debate Competition. After a fierce battle, the Red House defeated the Yellow House and emerged as the champion.
We are thankful for a wonderful and joyous school year and we wish everyone a meaningful and fruitful summer holiday.
