On September 24 and 25, our College took part in the DSS STEM Fair organized by the Hong Kong Direct Subsidy Scheme Schools Council at St. Paul’s Convent School. Our students set up their own booth and shared their experience in STEM projects with the public. They also demonstrated how a self-assembled extrication machine can be used to clean up nuclear waste. Our booth was popular and attracted many visitors. Some of our S1 Students also visited the STEM Fair. Apart from experiencing Virtual Reality adventure programmes, they had the chance to engage in various scientific presentations by other participating DSS schools.
It was really an eye-opening experience for our students to gain insights into the latest STEM advancements. The event also served as a good platform for experience sharing in STEM education, and offered a good opportunity for our students to further explore their interest in science.
