2017-09-22   Lunchtime Music Appreciation

On September 22, the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra and the popular a cappella group Yat Po Singers were invited to our College to give a performance to our junior form students. The main aim of the activity is to enhance students’ understanding about Chinese culture and to broaden their horizons in Chinese music.

During the lunchtime mini-concert, students were amazed as the musicians performed various masterpieces on stage. It completely changed students’ impression that Chinese music is always dull and boring. The concert not only offered students a relaxing break amid the hectic school days, but also enhanced their music appraising ability.
