The third Staff Development Day was successfully held on April 17. It was a good opportunity for our teaching staff to visit different secondary schools in Hong Kong for professional exchange purposes.
On that day, subject teachers of respective departments went to different secondary schools for lesson observation. They also engaged in professional dialogues on effective pedagogy and classroom practices. The day concluded with a sharing session during which participating teachers shared with fellow colleagues their rewarding experiences.
It was a fruitful day for all. Apart from fostering friendly relationships between the collaborating schools, it also provided useful reference for the College to enhance its curricula and teaching strategies so as to better cater for our students’ learning needs. Here we would like to thank Gertrude Simon Lutheran College, Diocesan Boys’ School, La Salle College, United Christian College (Kowloon East), Carmel Alison Lam Foundation Secondary School, St. Francis Xavier's College, HKMA K S Lo College, Methodist College, Munsang College and Po Leung Kuk Lo Kit Sing (1983) College. We look forward to more of such collaborative opportunities in the future.
