Four of our students, Aidan Chen (2C), Preston Tse (2C), Ankh Wong (2P) and Lucas Wong (2P), participated in the “Privacy Defender” App Design Competition organized by the office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data. They were given the Merit Award in recognition of their achievement. In addition, our College achieved the Silver Award as a partnering school in the Student Ambassador for Privacy Protection Programme.
As part of the competition, our students had to create their own mobile game to promote personal privacy protection, whereby they had an opportunity to put their STEM knowledge and skills into practice and showcase their innovative ideas. They also got to know more about the importance of protecting and respecting personal data. It was really a valuable STEM learning experience for our students.
