S1 Residential Training Camp
Secondary school life can be wonderful as well as challenging for S1 freshmen. To help the newly admitted S1 students adapt to secondary school life, the Discipline Team organized an S1 Training Camp at the Hong Kong YWCA Youth Camp from 22 to 24 August. Students took part in various activities such as marching, night games and dodgeball competitions, which posed a challenge to their physical and mental stamina. The main aim of these activities is to foster students’ friendship and team spirit so that they will learn to appreciate and care for each other, and be able to grow together in the next six years. The training camp also provided a disciplined environment for students to develop self-discipline and self-management skills, so that they would be empowered to embrace secondary school life that emphasizes self-reliance and self-motivation.
