Our Principal, Mr. Law, and Deputy Principal, Ms Cheung, were invited by the Big History Institute at Macquarie University to attend the Big History Project Information Session to be held on September 21. The Big History project is an innovative educational initiative co-founded by Macquarie University's Professor David Christian and Bill Gates and is currently being taught around the world in both High Schools and at University level. The Big History Course is a multi-disciplinary course that weaves together insights and evidence from many disciplines into a single, understandable story - insights from astronomy, physics, chemistry, biology, anthropology, history, economics, and more. It possesses interesting, thought provoking content that develops critical thinking in students. Our Former Principal, Mr. Puiu also shared some of his experience during the session.
