We are very happy to announce that both our Junior debating team and Senior debating team won in the first round of the Hong Kong Secondary School Debate Competition that was held on October 11. The motion of the debate was ‘This house would actively clamp down on unauthorized sub-divided housing in Hong Kong’. The Junior team debaters included MAGRAMO Pia Samantha Codiamat (3C), WALIA Jeenat (3C) and DHAKAL Deepmala (3C), with Jeenat being awarded the best speaker. The team comprising CHAN Yi Kwan Isabel (5L), MURILLO Michaela Bautista (5M) and TARIQ Tasphiya Tabassum Preeti (5L) won the competition in the senior section, with Michaela being crowned the best speaker.
