2018-11-13 Visit to Jao Tsung-I Academy
To provide an opportunity for students to learn Chinese Language and culture in an interesting way, the Chinese & Chinese History Department arranged for some S5 non-Chinese speaking students to visit Jao Tsung-I Academy on November 13.
During the visit, students attended an exhibition on the theme ‘The Vivid World of Chinese Characters: From the Origin to the Future’, during which they learnt about the historical changes and charming elements of Chinese characters. They also joined a DIY workshop on designing Chinese traditional oil paper umbrellas. Students took part in the various learning activities with great enthusiasm and they got to have a better understanding about traditional Chinese culture.
